Mr. Syed Suhail Ali heads the corporate & commercial law vertical, with expertise in the areas of general corporate laws with a specific focus on project finance including collaterals, equity funding, foreign investment in India, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions in the corporate & commercial law vertical. He has provided negotiation support, transaction documentation, legal due diligence and transaction advisory services to various industries including IT and ITES. He has experience in both civil and criminal litigation and has a good eye on dispute resolution matters. He was also part of the legal and compliance wing of Wipro Technologies, before he co-founded Commonlaw Partners, a multi-disciplinary and full service law firm based at Bangalore.

Mr. Syed Parvez Ali has enrolled at the Karnataka State Bar Council and handled, advised, conducted and argued in several technical and intricate litigations in various fields including civil, criminal, corporate, arbitration, consumer actions and banking matters before the Karnataka High Court and several other courts, tribunals and forums. Has also advised numerous clients on various HR and employment related issues, drafting of employment agreements. Has also vast experience on providing opinion on title to property, departmental searches, drafting of various transactional documents (viz. deeds of sale, lease, mortgage, license, exchange etc.), due-diligencing of title, registration and stamp-duty related advise, liasioning with the registration and other departments of the government, panchayat, municipal councils, tahsildars etc.
